How to abuse DOTA 2 Battle Pass 2022

Let me just clear this up for you without wasting anytime.

You CANNOT ABUSE in Battle Pass 2022 because there are no wager tokens, yet.

Let's just hope there will be wager token when Battle Pass 2 is released. Until then there is no use of abuse lobby other than clearing Cavern Crawl map.

If you're still interested on how an Abusing Lobby works check out the abusing guide below

How to abuse DOTA 2 Battle Pass 2020

For the people looking for a way to abuse in Battle Pass 2022: https://www.shiftescape.com/2022/09/how-to-abuse-dota-2-battle-pass-2022.html

Throwback to my post back in 2018 https://www.shiftescape.com/2018/09/how-to-abuse-batlepass-dota-2.html

But this time things have changed immensely. Contrary to previous year's Battle Pass this year the grinding process is next to useless.
In previous Battle Pass's you could recycle your immortals for Battle Points/Level which has been completely removed and replaced with the absurd Valve inc. R.N.G. Powered Side Shop where you play a DOTA AutoChess/Underlord kind of game with the characters you roll and sell them for a value which could be used for another chance based Treasure, Bundle, Gauntlet Ticket, Arcana and courier/announcers.

Also, as good as the Battle Pass this year is, there's no way to get anything over the immortals without paying up. At the same time, you get way better items compared to previous Battle Pass if you're paying about 200-220$ with some grinding.

Anyway, having bought the Battle Pass you have contributed the prize pool so congratulate yourself for supporting this game and let's get down to our grinding business.

This year by Battle Pass abuse you can only gain side shop coins and some bounties which is still better than having no ability to grind over anything.

How to abuse?
  1. Make an Abuse lobby.
  2. Share the lobby in the public chat channels. You can find Battlepass abuse channels in user-made channels.
  3. Once you have all the players you need a co-leader. One will lead the Radiant team and the other one will lead the Dire team. Leaders are the point of contact for the team and need to add each other as a friend. Since you're going to be one of the leaders, you need to decide a leader from the player in the lobby.
  4. Now you do a balanced shuffling of players until you're in an opposite team of the other leader.
  5. Now the leaders form the party by inviting players in their respective teams.
  6. Once the party is ready, both leaders are supposed to change matchmaking settings to something that is rare. For example: if you're from Asia, you can search for a match in South Africa with the language set as Korean and you know for sure there are not much people there searching for a match with the language set as Korean. Time also plays a crucial role in settings. For example, if it is an unearthly hour in some region you can assume not many people would be playing DOTA 2 there.
    Example of settings:
    Language: Korean
    Region: South Africa
    Mode: RANDOM DRAFT
  7. Now both the leaders start finding a match at the same time and repeat.
Sometimes you could miss a match and alter settings to what you think could be better.
Some unsaid rules for abusing,
  1. You don't leave a match after winning your turn if it was first.
  2. Radiant first, always.
  3. If someone violates rule one block the person so you either can identify them in future.
This abuse tactic can also be used to increase MMR, improve behaviour score or remove Low Priority penalty. But that clearly is unjust and you're likely to get a 6-month ban if you do so.

We made Desktop Mascot Engine and here's a giveaway

Desktop Mascot Engine is available on Steam for a long time now and it's getting better with every update.

We've been updating D.M.E. for over 5 months now and we're very proud of it. We recently pushed an AI chat feature powered by NMT Chatbot. We plan to improve it over time like we have improved the whole product so far.

It started with a Unity Asset that would put any 3D model on your Desktop. It's called Desktop Mascot Maker. But soon we had to make some major improvements as it was causing too much load on CPU and GPUs.
We ended up making the whole program all over to fix the issue with performance. Over the time we remade our UI, worked on AI chats which sometimes didn't render the results as expected.
We updated the software with a Steam Workshop tool for the users to create and add their own characters. Currently, the workshop tool supports 2D characters only and you can use Shimeji characters as you like.
We're currently working on a 3D workshop tool that will let users submit their 3D models to the workshop.

Not only this we have many more ideas we want to put together in the times to come like a community music player, friend interactions, community mini-games and some other stuff I cannot leak.

Leave in a comment with what you would love to see next in Desktop Mascot Engine to get your free Steam key. Don't forget to enter a valid email address when commenting because that's where I'll be emailing you the key.

[FIXED] Inventory glitch or the Black hole Bag in PUBG Mobile

If you're unable to reload or your inventory a.k.a. your bag is always empty, everything you pick just goes into some unknown void and you're just clueless as to why bad things always happen to good people. Just relax because it is not a major issue and can be resolved easily.

Like really easy.
In short, just Restart your device.
That's it, man.
Just restart your device.

And for people who want to dig a little deeper.
This is probably not a big deal for the developers working on PUBG and I guess they can fix it in no time once and for all.
It probably happens because of some data that were stored previously either from the game you left in between or you got disconnected from and are causing some conflict with the new data from the current game. So even if you uninstall the game and reinstall it won't fix because some of the temporary data remain in the phone which the application expected to be flushed when the device will be restarted.

So the only option to fix it for your current game is to just Restart the phone.

How to abuse Batlepass DOTA 2

DOTA 2 is an immensely popular RPG game and is well known for hosting the Biggest prize pool competition for last 4 years since The International 2014.

Now if you've ever bought the Battlepass you contributed to this prize pool. Anyway, it's totally worth its value but gets really expensive if you wish to reach higher levels. It's literally impossible to reach over round about 300 levels without buying extra levels.
Even then it is not assured you will win every bet and predictions unless you start grinding by Battlepass abuse.
Since this season has already ended I'll share a little tutorial on how Battlepass abuse for DOTA 2 works.

Disclaimer: I'm in no way responsible for any damage you incur to your account or behaviour score. Also, note that if caught Valve might ban your account.

But that's a rarity. Considering the requirement for 6 months or 1 year of ban we're not doing anything punishable.

What is Battlepass abuse? It is an exploit in the matchmaking process of DOTA 2 where we match against the teams from the same lobby.
Then we let one team win first then we match again and let the other team win. And we place all our bets when it's our turn to win.
This is likely to work for 2019 The International Battle Pass as well.
How to abuse?
  1. Make an Abuse lobby.
  2. Share the lobby in the public chat channels. You can find Battlepass abuse channels in user made channels.
  3. Once you have all the players you need a co-leader. One will lead the Radiant team and other will lead the Dire team. Example of settings:
    Language: Korean
    Region: South Africa
    Mode: Mutation
  7. Now both the leaders start finding a match at the same time and repeat.
Sometimes you could miss a match and alter settings to what you think could be better.
Some unsaid rules for abusing,
  1. You don't leave a match after winning your turn if it was first.

Happy gaming keep grinding.

Roblox for Xbox One

Apparently this is one of the Best free game you can find for Xbox One. I happen to have wasted 6 over hours today playing games on Xbox One and went on to play Roblox Speed Run for like 2 hours.

I also live streamed on Twitch for sometime and then on YouTube, needless to say I had little to no viewers.

Now what is Roblox?
Roblox is very much like Minecraft in game play and graphics style. It was launched way back in 2006 (yea I never heard of it) and now it is available on iOS, Android, Xbox One and Windows.
Roblox features game mods made by users and as their site claims it has over 15 million games created by users. It's best meant for kids and there are many addicting games like Speed Run which gets frustrating as you progress rather say when you don't progress.

Roblox is Free To Play with in game purchases.

Roblox has a lot to be explored. It's massive user base leads to addition of new games and levels everyday. So yea unless you have really a lot of time to kill and can tolerate little bit of cliche of repetitiveness this is a game to go. Just 250 mb of download size in Xbox One won't take much time either.

I recommend playing Stop it, Slender! 2 which is a rip off of the popular Slender Man.

If you play this game and have any favorites you'd like me to play let me know in the comments.

See you in Live Stream. ;)

How to make a Video Game for beginners

If you are interested in making video games and have no idea as for where to start from, keep reading. By the end of this article you will have a round view of how a certain game is made and or how you can begin making games on your own. This article is a part of my personal performance report since I am also in the learning phase of game development. I did my research on various methods of game development, made a few small demo games which were pretty lame and now I am moving forward to develop better games.

Let's discuss some prerequisites for game development.

1. Computer.
2. Game development Software and the Internet of course.
3. Idea for a game (pretty useless for now).
4. Ability to handle creativity drought and a reason to move forward.
5. Something to eat.

Let's cover every thing point by point.
1. Computer.
This is really necessary and reason is pretty obvious. Now the power of the computer will greatly affect what you can do. But since we are in the beginners phase we need not have a really powerful PC. Let's say a PC which can run DOTA2 or CS:GO would be enough to handle everything for now.
In fact if you were to build an HTML5 game even lighter systems would do.

2. Game Development Software.
This is where most of the confusion starts. Why? It's because there are just way too many different kinds of game development IDEs out there, This tend to confuse a mere beginner for what is right for them and what is easy. Let me clear the confusion out for you. There is no such thing as easy in Game Development. Easy would be to make a lame game with little to no objective in it. But is that what you really want to make in the long run? Of course for a beginner it is okay to make some lame game but if you really want to learn making some cool games you have to be prepared for brain block puzzles and learn to code. This is absolute necessity. If you cannot code, you atleast need somebody to guide you through when it hits you. My advice is to stick with Unity. It has the capablity to handle 2D games as well now. It's way too extensive and you can easily find tutorials for it.
Apart from this, if you really want to explore, go ahead and check out Scirra, Phasers for HTML5,
3. Idea for a game.
I call it something useless because it is useless. If you are new to game development just write down your idea somewhere and drop it from your head. Why? Because that's not how things work. When learning you should carry a free mind and open approach to the new things you come across rather than imposing your ideas on something. I'm not saying your ideas are entirely useless, but they are for now. It's better to keep them safe and try implementing them when you have learnt something.

4. You need a reason.
Yep, I distinctly remember having started to make a game when I was in high school. I used some software called Adventure maker. Pretty soon I dropped the idea and moved on. This time, I dropped off from a job to make games with my friend. I think about quitting everyday, then I drop the idea again and again. Let's hope things work out soon.

[FIXED] Packet Loss and Lag in DOTA2 7.00

If you are experiencing packet loss in DOTA2 ever since it got "the big update" you might have to address the following solutions.
I have no idea as for what actually did the trick for me since I did everything I could and possibly this could work for you.

Firstly you have to make sure it's the problem at your end and not your ISP.
Once sure that there is no problem with your Internet you need to check your connection with the DOTA servers. Now the trick here is to check your connection in different servers. To do so simply connect to any other server than the one you have problem in. Even if the ping is high. Not too high though.

Little explanation here.
Ping and Packet Loss are two entirely different things. You could have good ping but still get massive packet loss. This is because Ping is rather a small transfer of data but when it comes to packet loss, it refers to data packets lost while transferring large amounts of data.
So if you had packet loss in one server connect to a different server with rather higher ping and check if you still get the packet loss.

For example if you play in SEA Server, try playing a match in Dubai, Japan or India in-spite of higher ping. Besides you can easily play in pings unto 150 and 150-200 ping should be okay to some extent as well.

1. Disabling X-Box Game DVR.

Pretty useless for us. To manually disable Game DVR follow this.

2. Go to task manager > Services
Locate BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) and stop it.

3. Disable/quit NVIDIA GeForce Experience, if you have that.

4. Restart Steam.
