Why a one account for all Streaming Services would be a great idea

Since 2011, Netflix has become one of the most powerful companies in the world, boasting a worldwide user base of nearly 150 million. Between 2011 and 2015, Netflix and other streaming services penetrated the global market so effectively that piracy plummeted roughly 50%.

However, for the first time in years, that trend line is changing. In 2018, global piracy went up.

Global piracy rate is a useful indicator for the health of the streaming market because it highlights a key value of streaming providers: convenience. Netflix proved that even in a world where piracy is accessible and relatively low-risk, users are willing to pay for convenience. No one wants to search dodgy corners of the internet to stream The Office if they don't have to.

The migration of users from streaming services back to piracy indicates that streaming services are no longer offering the same level of convenience they used to. There are two major reasons for this.

The first is market segmentation. If you want to watch Westworld, Atlanta, and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, you'll need to subscribe to some combination of HBO, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. As major streaming services invest in exclusive content (Netflix budgeted $13 billion for original content in 2018), users are forced to sign up for multiple services or miss out. As producers like Disney launch their own exclusive streaming services, the problem only grows.

The second is international licensing. International licensing for media is a nightmare, and for streaming services, it presents a massive bottleneck. While Netflix users in the U.S. enjoy thousands of streamable movies, users in Portugal get by with a couple hundred. In countries with strict censorship laws like Saudi Arabia, numbers become even smaller.

These forces converge to make individual streaming services less convenient—and therefore less valuable—to users, making the trade-offs of piracy more worthwhile. And while that may not spell the end for streaming services, it does signal that we may be seeing the end of streaming's golden age.

There seems to be a need for One Account for all streaming services in this world. But such a program will require a lot of money to put it in action. Paying royalties to streaming services and playing it through their application (maybe). Such a thing seems only possible by a joint effort. Hopefully, someday these big players will realize and work together on something like it.

I'm going to increase the visitors on my blog and here's how

Up until now, I've been blogging on what so ever I feel like writing. Turns out it's not a healthy habit for blogging. As I previously explained how following a niche helps your blog it also inversely affects it if a niche is not being followed. So I plan to fix that and by posting more content on a certain topic and let the define the niche of my blog.
I did my research and found that people(other bloggers) tend to interact more with posts that are SEO or blogging based. The reason is obvious to get better backlinks and traffic of the same niche.

I plan to do it by doing little research on similar web pages and mostly throw KWFinder.
For those who don't know, KWfinder is an easy way for researching keywords you can target for better search result placement.
KWfinder gives free five searches for a day.
Also, you can do keyword research using Google Adwords.

Niche based mistakes new Bloggers do in SEO

When it comes to writing blogs, Search Engine Optimisation is something not everyone focuses on. Many times we would come across blogs that have good content yet don't rank well in searches.
Why?

The reason behind is simple, Search Engines crawlers don't think your content is good enough to be ranked higher. So how does that work?

In order to rank well in the searches, you need to make quality content and focus on your niche. It is never a good idea to spread your hands in all directions. Doing so in blogging and writing content on anything you find can backlash as well.

You see, if someone visits your website for a particular search term and some other person searches for something remotely related to that particular search, they tend to believe your blog might be rich in that particular type of content.
In simple words, you would not expect a Video Editing related blog to host content on Astrophysics, would you? So if someday a the Video Editing blog decides to write on astrophysics just because they like it. Does not mean it's would be ranked better on searches because the search engine knows that their blog doesn't contain a significant amount of quality and quantity of astrophysics related content.
Doing so this also reduces the authority of your blog because this reduces your search ranking.

Generate Passive Income Ideas

This is meant for anyone who is looking forward to setup an online business and or make money online. You might be surprised by how long the little efforts can go when working online.
But then again nothing in this world is free neither is making money. I will be sharing ways to popularize your Internet presence and some side sources which you can use to generate some passive income.

Let's get to the point directly.

First and most popular way any body should go for is going with a blog. Even if you think you don't need a blog or don't have the interest in running one, you should make one. Why? The answer is simple, your blog is permanent. Whether it makes sense or not if it gets some audience it will generate some income. Also a blog precisely a personal blog a best way of tracking your progress. Consider it like a public journal and self evaluation log.
Now you go set up a free blog either on Blogspot and if you really want to get into blogging register a domain. If you are inexperienced with how the blogs and websites work I suggest sticking with the free blogging services like Blogspot, WordPress. Having a self hosted website has its own perks though.

Doing Fiverr jobs.
This is quite popular and why not. It's totally worth it. Just explore Fiverr and you might come up with something that suits your talent.
Apart from Fiverr you can also target Freelancer.com and sign up in Web master forums like Digital Point. You will get to learn a lot that way.

Designing T-shirts, Decals and similar stuffs.

Services like RedBubble and PosterGully pay you with every sale you make. If you are worried that you cannot design something original or good, just drop it out of your head and start copying designs. You see everything in designs is either or copy or is inspired by something somewhere. So it is perfectly okay to copy designs. Just make sure its not too obvious violation of copy rights.

Setting up a store on Amazon, Flipkart and similar services.
This is one method you should opt if you have and can make an initial investment. To be honest it is not as easy as it sound here. You don't just invest money and start getting returns. You need do a thoruogh research before that. How? you may ask.
Let me summarize what I have read over on different sites.
Study the market first which is the shopping portals like Amazon and Flipkart. There you can filter out the popular content.
Now do a research on whole sale market. Which is AliExpress and Alibaba website.
Compare selling price of the products and buying price and you can come up with a list of products that can generate substantial profit margin.
That's it. Start your store and wait. I recommend googling such tactics of selling products online.
Not only this, once you setup a store you can target audience using Instagram and Facebook as well.

How to make a Video Game for beginners

If you are interested in making video games and have no idea as for where to start from, keep reading. By the end of this article you will have a round view of how a certain game is made and or how you can begin making games on your own. This article is a part of my personal performance report since I am also in the learning phase of game development. I did my research on various methods of game development, made a few small demo games which were pretty lame and now I am moving forward to develop better games.

Let's discuss some prerequisites for game development.

1. Computer.
2. Game development Software and the Internet of course.
3. Idea for a game (pretty useless for now).
4. Ability to handle creativity drought and a reason to move forward.
5. Something to eat.

Let's cover every thing point by point.
1. Computer.
This is really necessary and reason is pretty obvious. Now the power of the computer will greatly affect what you can do. But since we are in the beginners phase we need not have a really powerful PC. Let's say a PC which can run DOTA2 or CS:GO would be enough to handle everything for now.
In fact if you were to build an HTML5 game even lighter systems would do.

2. Game Development Software.
This is where most of the confusion starts. Why? It's because there are just way too many different kinds of game development IDEs out there, This tend to confuse a mere beginner for what is right for them and what is easy. Let me clear the confusion out for you. There is no such thing as easy in Game Development. Easy would be to make a lame game with little to no objective in it. But is that what you really want to make in the long run? Of course for a beginner it is okay to make some lame game but if you really want to learn making some cool games you have to be prepared for brain block puzzles and learn to code. This is absolute necessity. If you cannot code, you atleast need somebody to guide you through when it hits you. My advice is to stick with Unity. It has the capablity to handle 2D games as well now. It's way too extensive and you can easily find tutorials for it.
Apart from this, if you really want to explore, go ahead and check out Scirra, Phasers for HTML5,
3. Idea for a game.
I call it something useless because it is useless. If you are new to game development just write down your idea somewhere and drop it from your head. Why? Because that's not how things work. When learning you should carry a free mind and open approach to the new things you come across rather than imposing your ideas on something. I'm not saying your ideas are entirely useless, but they are for now. It's better to keep them safe and try implementing them when you have learnt something.

4. You need a reason.
Yep, I distinctly remember having started to make a game when I was in high school. I used some software called Adventure maker. Pretty soon I dropped the idea and moved on. This time, I dropped off from a job to make games with my friend. I think about quitting everyday, then I drop the idea again and again. Let's hope things work out soon.

How to make self hosted WordPress site for FREE

There are a number of ways to make a website or a blog. Be it Blogger, Tumblr, Wix but when it comes to professional web development one would always come back over and again to WordPress or any similar service like Joomla. But Joomla isn't all that popular now, it's the WordPress which own the Internet for now and why not!
There are a number of advantages of WordPress, and I'm not talking about WordPress.com.
There is a big difference in self-hosted and free WordPress sites. WordPress.com blogs are limited to a great extent, hence we stick to self hosted WordPress site.
Oftentimes one give up the idea of building a self hosted WordPress site because hosting is not cheap and cheap ones are not reliable.

Today we will be making a WordPress site with little to no efforts and on a reliable server as well.
I will be using 000webhost for hosting my WordPress site.

Step.1: Go to 000webhost from here. Sign up and leave your account there for a while.
Step. 2: Register a domain name. I recommend using Godaddy as they have got really cheap offers as well.
Step. 3: Set your name servers to    ns01.000webhost.com   and   ns01.000webhost.com
Step.4: Once your site is active use WordPress auto-installer which you can see after logging into your 000webhost account.

Your WordPress site is ready.

Unconventional Traffic Generation Hacks nobody shares

Oh you have heard of them I'm pretty sure, you just are not sure whether they are good for you or not.
I am talking about the unholy ways of generating traffic to your blog or website. By unholy I am referring to the means that most of the top blogs or websites use and would still deny that they would do anything such cheap. Of course is doesn't matter once you have made up a position, then you can gladly give up such practices. But everybody has to start from somewhere, and whether or not they admit, all of the blogs and websites have once in their life time would have done these practices to improve traffic to their site.

Let's hit the points directly and stop all these side talks.

1. Ads.
Simply, ads. Yea you would say I don't have a big budget to afford fancy ad networks. I never said you need a budget. All you need is an advertisers account. Now I am not here to share direct links to anything, you have the Internet and you can pretty much search for anything.
But I will tell you something that will help you refine your research. Ad networks like Adsense and Bing provide signup rewards which you can use to boost your website's web presence.
Just make sure you do use all your credits on time as they tend deplete over a given time.

Also, you can find coupon codes for credits on Web master forums like Digital Point and Wjunction. Not many sellers now a days but you've got to keep an eye for one.

2. Comments.
This is pretty obvious. If somebody from other website leaves a comment on my blog I would be really interested in who that guy is. It's not just me, it happens with everyone. Unless if you are getting way more comments to keep a track of.
This is even considered not-healthy for a blog since leaving a comment on a toxic site would degrade your site's value. But wait you are not going to comment on any porn blog are you? That's it. Not all blogs out there are toxic. Some might be, but it's highly unlikely to come across one.

3. Link Building.
They say, that Page Rank is dead. But hey then there is another thing called Moz Rank. Which is somewhat similar. You know there will always be something like this in the play. It does not matter. If you still come across an opportunity to get link backs to your site, do exploit it. It is only considered bad when the link coming from again are "toxic" sites. But then again it's highly unlikely to run into a toxic site.

4. Updating Blog.
You must have heard some thing like "Keep your blog updated with 'quality content'."
I'm going to change this line a little bit

"Keep your blog updating".

You know when you stick to writing only quality content for your blog you are very likely to get a writer's block from time to time. And you know what is worse that writing rubbish? Not writing anything. My advice here is that you should always keep your blog updated to anythign that comes to your head. You need not worry about the quality of the post you write not about whether the niche is according to your blog. If you keep your blog updated whether or not certain post is worthy it might generate some traffic. And who knows what becomes viral.

5. Facebook.
This is one habit I don't have and I don't plan to use it in near future. You can say I'm saving it for someday in near future. But this works for now and I have tested it.
Have you ever seen fake Facebook profiles? Have you seen ridiculous spam comments? You must have seen unnecessary ads as well.

That's it. If you through a dollar in Facebook ads, you are likely to get half of its value's benefit.

Create a multi-profile badge for your Blog

Check out another version of this profile badge here.

I just realized that there is no way to add multiple profile's link on your blog. It is either Google+ profile badge or you have to copy your badge code from other sites like facebook in a widget.
How about we make a custom badge with multiple links to our different profiles.

To do so I am going to use a simple CSS trick to encircle my profile picture and simply add the links to my various profiles.

We are making a profile badge which would end up looking like this

Step 1. We need to define some CSS for the box and list of profiles. Add following code in your CSS.

.profileBadge img {
    border-radius: 50%;
    width: 150px;
    height: 150px;
    margin: auto;
    display: block;
    padding: 5px;
    text-align: center;

}
.profileBadge li {
text-transform: uppercase;
list-style: none;
line-heigth: 1.4px;
text-align: center;
padding: 5px;
}
.profileBadge{
border: 1px solid #ddd;
border-radius: 4px;
padding: 5px;
}

Step 2. Since we are using fontawesome here. we need to call that CSS as well. For that add following line just before the </HEAD> in your template.

<link href='//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.0.3/css/font-awesome.min.css' rel='stylesheet'/>

Step 3. Go to page layout and add a gadget of HTML/Javascript. Leave the title part empty if you like and add following code in the next part.

<div class="profileBadge">
<img src="YOUR_PROFILE_PICTURE.png" alt="profile_picture" width="200" height="200" />
<p align='center'>Whatever you want to say goes here..</p>
<li><i class='fa fa-google-plus'></i> <a href="http://plus.google.com/u/0/+YOUR_USER_ID">YOUR_USER_ID</a></li>
<li><i class='fa fa-instagram'></i> <a href="http://instagram.com/YOUR_USER_ID">YOUR_USER_ID</a></li>
<li><i class='fa fa-facebook'></i> <a href="http://facebook.com/YOUR_USER_ID">YOUR_USER_ID</a></li>
</div>

And change everything with your credits. Your custom profile badge is ready.

Welcome to CODA Themes

This is a two day project initiated today, more precisely now.
Objective: is to create a Blogspot theme from scratch.
Audience being any one who want s to make blogspot themes that you can sell or just give away for free downloads.

What we will be doing here is make a dummy template first. Then apply all kinds of design preferences we have.

At first I will be making a dummy template which will have all the necessities of a Blogspot theme without any design at all.

Off to next to post.
